Taylor Steele @ Bully Pictures

Feature film director

Taylor Steele is an award-winning director and producer, who broke new ground at the young age of seventeen with the relesase of the surf film Momentum. Over the next two decades he went on to direct and produce over forty best-selling titles, starring the world's best surfers and musicians.

Taylor's travel and surf documentaries have garnered numerous awards and accolades. These include a showcase at the National Geographic headquarters and the 2010 Muai Film Festival's prestigious Beacon Award. In addition, his film Castles in the Sky won the audience choice award for Most Visuaion Documentary.

Taylor strives to make films that in his words, "evoke the feeling of a memory, yet have the sense that they're happening right now." That sensibility is imprinted on all of his work, from his cutting-edge surf films to his recent spots for Corona, Pacifico, and HP. For Taylor, capturing any lifestyle driving film is about finding both the honest and beauty of that world. It's that aesthetic which made his move into advertising a seamless transition.

He now focuses on commercial directing while continuing to develop and produce feature films.

Todd Kellstein @ Hob Nob Producitons

Todd Kellstein is an LA based director and cinematographer with a docu-style aesthetic. He would rather you just call him TK.

Back in the day, when Britney wore Denim over Denim, TK worked in Music Videos; Many of them with Hob Nob’s very own Jonathon Ker. His list of videos include works for BonJovi, JC Chasez, Sum 41, Ronan Keating, and Samantha Mumba (nominated for Billboard Video of the Year), as well as Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, Eminem, Britney Spears and Usher as second unit director and director of photography. Those were fun days. Big budgets, lots of creativity, TRL!(Side note: After losing a bet with the 1st AD, TK was forced to play the dancing/farting polar bear in Eminem’s Without Me video.)

In 2007 TK was in Thailand shooting a doc about Thai prison fights. It was there he me an 8 year old girl named Stam. She was fighting for money to help her family survive. Five years and 200 fights later, after driving across Thailand and Myanmar on a red Honda scooter with two cameras in a backpack, Buffalo Girls premiered at Slamdance in Park City Utah. Again, with Hob Nob’s very own Jonathon Ker as producer. Buffalo Girls went on to the festival circuit, international TV distribution and streaming on Netflix and Hulu. It has been positively reviewed by the Hollywood Reporter, The Wall Street Journal, Variety and The Los Angeles Times.

Since then TK has directed spots for Volkswagen, The Clinton Global Initiative, Commonwealth Care Alliance, Quaker, St.Jude Children's Hospital, SURE, and as second-unit/action, director for Fox Sports, Adidas, BMW, Coors, Smart Car, Citroen, and much more.

TK’s been arrested in the DRC, mistakenly grabbed by the Karen Liberation Army, Driven a Freightliner truck across the entire lower half of Africa, and listened to Euro Pop trash music with French Paratroopers on patrol in Malawi. Always with a camera in hand.

Recently, TK has been bringing his storytelling skills to NGO fundraising, working with Rainn Wilson’s LIDE Haiti, Build On Malawi and Foundation Fighting Blindness to produce personal stories playing on web based outlets Soul Pancake and Upworthy. The pieces have garnered millions of hits and hundreds of thousands in fundraising dollars.

TK's list of press includes interviews by the LA Times, BBC, NBC, ABC 20/20, Nightline and the Carson Daily Show.
