One in 9 men will get prostate cancer.

Director, Kiran Koshy, and three friends were discussing a recent study on prostate health and the role of the prostate – to secrete prostate fluid. This led to a challenge. They began creating a list of creative nicknames for semen. This turned into a text chain, which they called Euphejisms, with terms like Lust Custard, Motion Lotion, Yank Yolk, Ovary Oil, Fappuccino, Honorable Discharge, Gene Gumbo, Fap Sap, Womb Raiders, and Brogurt. They then realized they had hit upon an idea to raise awareness of prostate health. The foursome thought it would make perfect sense from the male perspective to appeal to the male sense of humor and ageless obsession with their boy parts’ functionality.

Koshy also published a book titled Euphejisms, A Glossary of Sperminology.

Euphejisms, A Glossary of Sperminology, is available for purchase on Etsy and is now part of a prostate awareness campaign, released during Men’s Health Month (June). Accompanying the book is a website and a PSA, which features a scholarly looking narrator who reads euphejisms from the book as he casually walks through a manicured park.
